The dragons are at it again! One of our females has made another attempt to transfer her eggs to the male. It all happened during the noon tour of July 21st! Sometime during their elaborate courtship ritual the female made the move. We are waiting to see if any of the eggs stuck to the male! The Dragon breeding program is supported by the Seahorse Hawaii Foundation, 501 C 3. All proceeds generated from a successful Dragon breeding program will go directly to propagation and education of more endangered species. The Seahorse Hawaii foundation is looking for funding this summer for a live web cam set up so we can all watch this elaborate mating dance, followed by the egg transfer, fertilization and hatching of live baby sea dragons!
